If you still have one of the old paper ID cards, you should take the time to get it replaced before the end of the year. “Replacement of all paper based USID cards with 4- or 5-year expiration dates will occur by December 31, 2025,” according to a March 2025 email to MOAA from the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC). Even if your card has an “INDEF” expiration date, these paper cards are being phased out. Avoid a hassle at the gate in 2026 and get your paper card updated now. This article has more details and instructions on how and where to get this done. Spread the word!
Fair Success
Richard tells us that we had 753 meaningful contacts with veteran’s and their families this fair season. No bad at all. Thanks to all of our members and VSO’s who donated their time to get the word out!
Membership Area Active
The private chapter member page is active. This is where we’ll post information for member’s only, such as the chapter newsletter, member contact info and other chapter business. Your username is first initial+last name (i.e. Joe Blow username = jblow). Use the “forgot password” link the first time you sign in to set your password. I’ve added everyone on Richard’s email list. If I’ve missed you, send me a note.
New Website!
This is the new website for the Southeast Idaho Chapter of the Military Officers Association. This is the best place to find the latest news on our chapter activities. Have a look around and let me know what we can improve.
Our chapter currently has about two dozen members from all branches. We meet every other month at rotating locations, usually in Idaho Falls, Blackfoot and Pocatello. Check out the 2025 Meeting Schedule for the next one. Check out About Us for information on how to join. The Member Area is where we keep all our secrets. You’ll have to join to find out what’s there! Never stop serving…
